Masters Athlete Kokoda Track Trip – Be In It!

I love an active lifestyle. I also have a passionate interest in Australian history. Late last year Claire and I visited Ned Kelly country after reading a Peter Fitzsimons book on Ned. This year in late July-Early August I’m taking on another adventure that another Peter Fitzsimons book turned me onto. The Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea. I’m hoping you may be interested in joining me on this one.

A good mate of mine, Dave Kelly (no relation to Ned!) and I hoping to get enough people together to have our own private group. For this to occur we need 14 or more adventurers. Adult kids are welcome as are partners but remember you need to be fit. It’s not an easy 96k stroll and its not a boys only trip.

As we all have competing priorities with family and work, I thought it best to lock in dates. Here are the details and costs:

Dates:  Tuesday 25 July – Friday 4 August (11 days, 9 day walk)

Trip: $3745

Flights in & out Port Moresby, ex Brisbane, $600 with Air Niugini (Approx.)

Insurance $100 (Approx.)

Recommended personal expenses $500

Tipping $55 – $75

Porter $680 (if required)

Sleeping mat $35 (if required)

Further information can be accessed in detailed Trip Notes available from myself or World Expeditions (Phil Wyndham).

Please also don’t hesitate to contact Phil with any questions or concerns. We’d love to have our crew locked in by April 18th, 2017.
